Little Bunny Cocoa

Yesterday afternoon, after my amazing 7.5 mile run (which is the farthest I've gone!) I got a call from my mom saying we had a small crisis at home. Little did I know I would come home to a cute tiny 3 inch infant bunny who was barely alive. I ended up being the only one home all night, and needed to feed it via baby bottle every few hours. This dude just did not want to eat! After awhile he had a little, but I have been praying so hard that God would allow this bunny to live! He is super adorable!

Here are my suggestions for anyone if they happen to find an infant bunny in their yard, or if your cats decide to bring you a present home.

1: Keep it as warm as you can without over heating it. Place a warm water bottle in the bottom of a box covered with a bunch of towels.

2: Place the bunny in the box and let it burrow under the towel but not directly onto the warm water bottle.

3: Buy a bottle of kitten milk replacer at the pet store as well as a little feeding bottle.

4: My vet said to feed the bunny every 2 hours, however, every site I have been to says to only feed it 2x a day. This little guy barely drank anything during the times I have fed him, so I am sticking with every 2 hours.

Hope everyone finds this helpful if it ever happens to you!
