Taupe and White

Summer is here! Time to bust out some cute clothes for some awesome parties! This past week I attended a cousin's birthday party and wanted to look super cute. I am such a girly girl so I threw on my Express sequin tank and my American Eagle white frayed midi shorts. Everyone loved it! The sparkles and frayed details were a perfect contrast!

What types of outfits do you wear to summer parties?

Little Bunny Cocoa

Yesterday afternoon, after my amazing 7.5 mile run (which is the farthest I've gone!) I got a call from my mom saying we had a small crisis at home. Little did I know I would come home to a cute tiny 3 inch infant bunny who was barely alive. I ended up being the only one home all night, and needed to feed it via baby bottle every few hours. This dude just did not want to eat! After awhile he had a little, but I have been praying so hard that God would allow this bunny to live! He is super adorable!

Here are my suggestions for anyone if they happen to find an infant bunny in their yard, or if your cats decide to bring you a present home.

1: Keep it as warm as you can without over heating it. Place a warm water bottle in the bottom of a box covered with a bunch of towels.

2: Place the bunny in the box and let it burrow under the towel but not directly onto the warm water bottle.

3: Buy a bottle of kitten milk replacer at the pet store as well as a little feeding bottle.

4: My vet said to feed the bunny every 2 hours, however, every site I have been to says to only feed it 2x a day. This little guy barely drank anything during the times I have fed him, so I am sticking with every 2 hours.

Hope everyone finds this helpful if it ever happens to you!

DIY: Wall Art

I am all about DIY projects. When I decided that my room needed a makeover, I wanted to do all the artwork myself!

The walls of my room are a chocolate brown and I have mint and deep red accents. I had no idea what type of artwork I wanted, but I knew I wanted it to stand out!

I decided to take square canvases and get a little creative. First, I painted the canvases a light brown, to offset the chocolate paint on the wall. Then, I watered down some random colors of paint, including gold, teal, red, blues, etc. Although not all of these colors were in my bedspread or elsewhere, I knew they would look awesome!

I took the canvases out into the yard as well as the watered down paint and just started throwing droplets down and making criss-crossing motions with the paintbrush!

I absolutely loved how they turned out. The entire project only cost me about $20 (I got the canvases at a wholesale website that charged barely anything).

Graduation in Pink

I just graduate college last Saturday, May 5th. I wanted to look super cute without over doing it. I found this amazing dress at H&M at the mall and immediately fell in love with it. It's not super short, but definitely worked for the warm weather we had that day! It's a chiffon material that cinches at the waist. I absolutely loved pairing this dress with nude pumps and my Tiffany's necklace!
